Comment thread

I learnt how to comment and reply.

First me and my partner chose a blog post to comment on, we read the blog post before we commented on it.

Next we commented and labled the things we had n the comment.

Lastly I replyed back to my partner.

I enjoyed writing the comment, I need to improve writing a comment.

 

SSR Selfie

I done a task called SSR Selfie.

I read a book called Amulet for 15 minutes.

This book is about Emily and her brother Navin head for Kanalisa beautiful and mysterious city of waterfallswhere they hope to find the antidote for the poison that felled their mother.

 

 

 

Inclusive

I learnt how to be inclusive to people.

First I brainstormed on the different things we can do or say. For example: “Do You want to join?” We also needed to tell a story when we were being inclusive. For example: I was playing with my friends and i saw a little girl that was alone so i said ” Would you like to play with us?” and she said yes and joined us.

Next I learnt the benefits of being inclusive to someone. One of the benefits of being inclusive are being known for a nice person.

I enjoyed this task because I learnt different ways to be inclusive to others. I need to improve on the benefits of being inclusive.

Basic Facts

I completed my addition basics fact boxes and got 100 out of 100.

My finishing time was 3:30.

I think I need well on my time and I liked basic fact boxes, but I think I need to get better at answering the questions.

Commanding Conversation

I done a task called Commanding Conversation.

First i found a photo.

Next i had to think what to write about.

Lastly i wrote about 2 horses, Their is a horse who wanted someone to play with and a other horse just minding his own buissness and just walking around lonley.

I enjoyed this task because i get to use my imaganation, I need to improve on my conversation.

Summarising

We revised summarising about our own book.

First I read a book and summarised about it, we listed 20 important words on a google doc. We also listed 6 important words.

Lastly we made a sentence that flows with the six most important words.

 

Time

I learnt how to read time.

First Miss White drew a time on the whiteboard, we had to try find out the right answer and write it on the whiteboard.

Then I made a slide show showing a picute of a clock, with the time on it.

Lastly I told what time all of them were, and all the answeres

I liked this task because I learnt more about how to read time,  I need to get better at explaning them on my slide.

Topes Structure

TOPES stands for Title, Orientation, Problem, Events and Solution.

T stands for Title, the title is used to make people want to read the story.

O stands for Orientation, orientation is used to introduce the Character or the main Character and the world the story is in.

P stands for Problem, the Problem is the cause for the main Characters, need to act.

E stands for Events,the Events is detailing the action of the Characters.

S stand for Solution,solution is showing how the world looks now.

Commanding Conversation

Today I did a task called commandng conversation.

I wrote about 2 horses, the horses are called Creamy and Brownine.

Creamy wanted to play with Brownie but browine never knew Creamy so he didn’t listen to Creamy.

I enjoyed this task because you get to use your imagination. I did well at writing my commanding conversation.

What is Summarising

This week I learned about summarising.

First we read a book called goldilocks. We all had to talk about why goldilocks should not go inside a bear’s house and would you go in the house.

Next we all discuss the questions on the slide For example: Should she have fixed the chair that she broke.

Then we wrote 20 keywords on an slide and then we had to pick out 6 important words that will help us make a sentence flow.

Lastly I made a poster explaining what summarising is: Summarising is when you write or say a story in fewer/less words.
