State your opinion.
When sharing opinions make sure to use APE which means assertion,proof and explain. you have to use APE when sharing opinions.
Assertion is when say what it shows in the picture, when saying proof say the reason, when explaining the opinion say the reason you think that, for example if there was a picture of a younger brother and a older brother fighting over a teddy bear, can say what you see, the reason and why you think that.
Today I completed a writing task called editing Sentences.
First,we played a warmup Kahoot that was guess the logo.
Next,I saw some mistakes in the words that Mr Wong put into the sentences. I went to fix how they were spelt.
Lastly,I fixed how they were spelt. It was sort of easy to fix it.
I liked editing sentences. I was good at thinking of what words to use. I do not know what I need to improve on.
We revised our rippa rugby skills in PE on Thursday
First,we revised on how to pass. To pass right I have to put my right hand at the top the ball and put my left hand at the bottom then spin the ball. The ball should spin well.
Then,we played relay race,In this game the first three people in the three lines have to pass to eachother.The first team to sit down wins. We also remebered not to pass the ball forward.
Lastly,we played rippa tag. In rippa tag the first three in the two lines would try to rip the oppnents tags.
I enjoyed the rippa tag game,I did well in passing,I need to improve playing relay race.
Today I read a book called Guts.
This book is a fiction and I read 24 pages in 15 minutes.
This book was about a girl called Raina that woke up at night having a terrible upset stomach.
I learnt how to say ho mai te… and kei te…
First,we ask each other questions. For example: “ho mai te puka puka” which means give me the book and the other persons says “anei.”
Next,we started asking ” kei te turu” which means where is the chair.
I enjoyed this activity because I learnt how to say ho mai te… and kei te… I did well pronouncing the maori words.
This week I played a game of dodgeball some of them were a other version of dodgeball.
First,I played a game which was called jedi dodgeball. If a person gets tag from the ball in our team they have to sit down and wait for the jedi to tag you so you can get back into the game.
Next,I played a different version of dodgeball the game which was called traditional dodgeball.The rules for traditidonal dodgeball is if the other team throws the ball to you and you catch the ball that means that the person who threw the ball is out.
Lastly,I played another round of dodgeball. Coach Lucas made another rule for the last game of dodgeball which was if you get tagged you line up sitting down on the stage in the middle.
I enjoyed these versions of dodgeball,I need to improve throwing the ball.I did well catching the ball.
I learnt about what reorganisation means. Reorganisations is to change the way somehting is organisaed to fidn an answer.
First,we got into groups of two and then we got a white board marker and a white board because we needed to write the answer on it. We solved some questions together as a group .
Next,we went to go do some individual slides. These were the kinds of slides we had to answer,cold night, bricks, and true champion.
Lastly,I checked if I had any mistakes or if I left something out in one of my sentence.
I enjoyed this task because I did some activitys for organisation, I did well with the activities, I need to improve how to explain the question properly.
There are many dangerous situation like scams,phishing.
Phishing is when people send clickbait messages making you join a scam or download dangerous software for example:You have won some money Click here to get your money,the best way to handle this situation is to ignore it.
Scams is when people trick you into giving money to them. For example: I am a Nigerian prince who has been exiled from his kingdom. I ask that you help me by donating just $100. I will pay you back when I can pay for my freedom and get back to my kingdom.The best way to handle it is to delete the email.
Malware download is when ads or apps make you download software that makes your computer slow or steals information. The best way to handle it is to use a virus checker and delete it.
When you are on the internet make sure to check with the people that you are talking to because you might be leaded to dangerous situations.
Today we practised some AFL skills.
First,we revised how to hold a ball and how to throw a ball.
Next,we played piggy in the middle we had to get into a group of three,piggy in the middle is when there is two players on the outside to throw the ball to each other while the one in the middle tries to catch it.
Lastly,we played piggy in the middle as a whole class,how we played as a class is when when there is three people in the middle and the rest of the people goes in a circle around the piggy.
I enjoyed this activity because we played piggy in the middle,I need to improve how to throw a ball. I did well at catching the ball.
Today we did some Te Reo Maori.
First,we went on the mat and Wheaea Odie showed us thec ard that has the maori word on it for the card but when she showed us we had to pronounce it properly.
Next,We went over the words in maori like ronga,raro,waho,roto and we went over left and right in maori.
Lastly,we had to copy and paste the Maori words that were on the document on google maps.
I enjoyed this activity because i learned some new words in maori,I did well in pronoucing the words in maori.
